How buying a gun in Bainbridge works
Pick an FFL dealer near you that accepts shipped transfers and name it at checkout. We confirm their license and ship the firearm to them. Ammunition, optics and parts ship straight to your door where Georgia law allows.
Georgia requires no permit to purchase, gun registration, state waiting period, or magazine limit, and local jurisdictions cannot impose additional rules. Purchasing from a licensed dealer involves showing photo ID, completing ATF Form 4473, and passing a federal background check. Handguns require the buyer to be 21, while rifles and shotguns require 18. Private sales between Georgia residents do not mandate a state background check, but selling to prohibited individuals is illegal.
